Greetings.

Reach the professor. Book an appointment. Please allow one to two business days for a reply.

Louis M. Rosenberg, PhD

I invite you to contact me as issues arise in your course. I cannot emphasize enough how important consistent communication is between students and their professors. Many times, a student has come to me already thinking the worst — only to discover a solution together. So do reach out, even if it is only for a cup of coffee.

Option 01 · Send a Message

By email — and only the address on your syllabus.

For short questions and notes about your course, please email me at the address published on your course syllabus. That is the only email address I monitor for student correspondence. Scheduling is handled entirely through the appointment system — please do not use email to request, cancel, or reschedule a meeting.

A few practical notes Include your full name, course number, and section in the subject line. Allow one to two business days for a reply. For anything longer than a paragraph or two, please book an appointment instead — a fifteen-minute conversation is almost always faster than a chain of emails.

Messages sent through your university's Learning Management System will not be seen. See “And please remember…” below.

And please remember…

Reach Professor Rosenberg by email only — at the address printed on your course syllabus.

  1. Sending messages to Professor Rosenberg, or replying to his comments, on the Learning Management System (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.) is not allowed.
  2. Leaving voicemail is not allowed.
  3. Leaving written communication of any kind in his mailbox, office, or anywhere else on the planet is not allowed.
  4. Leaving messages for him with university personnel — deans, secretaries, mascots of any species, other members of faculty — is not allowed.

Etc.

Again: the only way to reach Professor Rosenberg is by email, at the address on your course syllabus.
